I am excited to announce the release of my second book, Everyday Triumph: Extraordinary Stories of Hope, Resilience, and Impact, which officially launched on April 8. This powerful collection of stories highlights the unwavering strength of the human spirit and showcases the remarkable journeys of 15 individuals who have faced adversity head-on and triumphed against the odds.

Everyday Triumph is an inspiring exploration of ordinary people achieving extraordinary feats, whether in bustling cities or quiet rural towns across America. These stories highlight individuals, all of whom readers will recognize from their appearances on my podcast Next Steps Forward, who provide a window into how they have transformed hardship into hope, failure into success, and adversity into action.

Among the featured individuals are Andi Buerger, a survivor of child trafficking and founder of the nonprofit Voices Against Trafficking, and John Register, a former All-American track and field athlete who lost his leg just before the 1996 Summer Olympics. These powerful narratives, along with many others, exemplify the resilience and courage that lie within us all. Each chapter serves as a testament to the boundless potential of the human spirit when we decide to take that critical “next step forward.”

Other incredible individuals featured in the book include Rob Morris, CEO and co-founder of Love146; Sebby Raspanti, a 9/11 survivor and New York City firefighter; Macey Estrella, a former WWE wrestler turned mental health advocate; and William Tong, the 25th Attorney General of Connecticut, to name a few. I am proud to share each of these individuals’ personal stories of overcoming challenges and making a profound impact on the world around them.

I am truly honored and thankful to each of the 15 individuals highlighted in this book for their willingness to allow me to tell their incredible stories of resilience and positive impact. Many have faced unimaginable challenges, and all have triumphed by taking their next steps forward, embracing leadership, and helping others along the way. I know how difficult and personal – but ultimately rewarding – it can be to have your personal story shared on a grand scale.

My own personal journey, including my experiences as a survivor of Ground Zero on 9/11, inspired me to dedicate my life to giving back – a topic I wrote about in-depth in my first book, Next Steps Forward: Beyond Remembering, The Power of Action. I am the co-founder and chairman of SoldierStrong, a nonprofit which donates revolutionary medical technology to veterans, and the founder of The 9/11 Legacy Foundation, which educates future generations about the profound and lasting significance of 9/11. These causes are deeply intertwined with my ongoing mission to inspire resilience, leadership, and empowerment in the face of adversity through my podcast Next Steps Forward and displayed within the pages of Everyday Triumph.

I am confident that these stories will inspire hope and, perhaps more importantly, will help readers find their own paths to resilience, equipped with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to face adversity with courage and conviction.

In praise of Everyday Triumph, Jon Runyan, Vice President of Policy and Rules Administration for the NFL and former U.S. Congress member, noted, “Every single story that Chris Meek has spotlighted proves the value of possessing not only an exceptional work ethic but also the importance of integrity, courage, hope, and resilience. Each person in this book is an inspiration and a testament to the human spirit.”

Everyday Triumph is now available for purchase on Amazon and in Kindle formats. Whether you’re seeking personal inspiration or looking for powerful stories of resilience and hope, this book is a must-read.
