Ben Elmore is the CEO, Founder and Managing Partner of Intevity, a boutique digital consultancy that develops solutions and technology to drive growth, transform business and make a real impact on people’s lives. He joins program host Chris Meek this week to discuss servant leadership and how to build a work culture that really cares for its people. It is Ben’s working thesis that most people are rarely celebrated, appreciated, cared for or experience excellence, that is why companies that create a culture through the lens of servant leadership have an opportunity to stand out and be a differentiator in attracting and growing talent. As many Next Steps Forward listeners may know, one challenge that leaders of companies face is a current talent shortage which in turn has created a competitive market. Ben challenges company leaders on how to think about leveraging company culture to their advantage and how to recognize the needs and motivations of their team members in the process. As Ben will note, leaders must have a posture of servant leadership, otherwise the idea of caring for or celebrating employees is not authentic. Ben will also speak to how faith has played a large role in shaping who he is and how service is at the heart of everything he does.
